The excitement about Nerium is rapidly exploding, and it’s evident that soon this will truly be a global company with a product that reaches people all over the world. We have plans in place to support this expansion and have many wheels already turning to make this a reality. In order to ensure that our international growth is not hurt by premature entry into countries outside of the United States, our Policies and Procedures include the following:
9.22 International Sales. No Independent Brand Partner may export or sell directly or indirectly to others who export the Company’s products, literature, sales aids or promotional material relating to the Company, its products or services or the Company’s program from the United States or its possessions or territories to any other country. Independent Brand Partners who choose to sponsor internationally may do so only in countries in which the Company has registered to operate its business and must comply fully with the Rules of Operation of a Company Brand Partner in that country. Any violation of this rule constitutes a material breach of this contract and is grounds for immediate termination of the Brand Partner position.
Violations of this policy include, but are not limited to, the following examples:
1. Acquiring product in the US and shipping it into a country for resale or distribution,
2. Signing people up in other countries as Brand Partners, Preferred Customers or retail customers,
3. Having meetings in a country outside of the United States and its territories, or
4. Promoting Nerium product or business in any way in countries outside of the US and its territories.
It is important that there is no active recruiting, building, or development in countries that we have not been licensed in and the product approved in. This includes promotion through websites and social media and creating pages/ accounts that seem to be dedicated to a specific city, state, country, region, province, etc. for regions in which Nerium is not open. Activities of the types mentioned above can create issues with the government and health agencies that can make it difficult to open a new market. In some cases, these activities can completely block us from entering the country. To that end: if someone is signed up as a Brand Partner in a country in which we are not open, he or she is not eligible to receive commissions.
We understand you have family, friends, and contacts all over the world with whom you’re eager to share the Nerium story. We are currently doing business in United States including Alaska and Hawaii and all US Territories including Guam, US Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, American Samoa, and Northern Mariana Islands. We also ship to all US military APO and FPO addresses.
For now, we ask for your patience regarding other countries, and we require that you work within the guidelines established in our Policies and Procedures. This helps to ensure that Nerium has the opportunity to grow globally without government or legal issues.
