As many of you might know, California is in the middle of a severe drought with 2014 being its driest year on record. On April 1, Governor Brown introduced mandatory, statewide water reductions to help combat the drought.

For the last two years, the state of California has been a wonderful host to Nerium for our Get Real conferences. This year though, it’s time for us to return the favor and be a great guest! We have a fabulous opportunity to live our mission statement and “make people better.”

Here’s how we can help:

water-bottlesAt Get Real: The best way that we can help is by bringing our own reusable water bottles! This is the most responsible way that we can both conserve water and reduce waste when we’re visiting San Jose. There are water fountains at the SAP Center, and I encourage you to refill your reusable bottles there.

In your hotel: The best thing we can do is to be conscious of how much water we’re using and cutting back wherever we can. For example, you can take a five-minute shower instead of ten or turn off the water when you’re brushing your teeth. It’s the little things that matter for water conservation!

I’d suggest getting a bottle before coming to Get Real so that you can be sure you get one before they run out! We have them in the Nerium store here.

Live Happy also has some great bottles that you can purchase here!

I hope you’ll join me in trying to help our Nerium family in California! Together, we can make a difference!
